山川冬樹在其作品《她放眼的未來是我們的現在》（2015年）當中，戴上了傳奇模特兒山口小夜子（1949年～ 2007年）的面具，在禁止進入的警戒區福島第一核能發電廠附近舞動徘徊。他的表演讓人聯想到「與冥界的通訊裝置」－「能」，他的舞姿彷彿是『井筒』（由世阿彌所作，能劇的代表劇目）中，等不到丈夫歸來的女人魂魄所舞出的男女一體舞。不過，以山川為附身表現出來的「她放眼的未來」，並非連結此岸與彼岸的安魂或追悼，而是肉眼看不見的輻射線及遮蔽輻射線的現況。
 
 
In his work The Future She Saw was Our Nowadays (2015), Fuyuki Yamakawa (1973 ~) wore a mask of the legendary model Sayoko Yamaguchi (1949 ~ 2007) as he wandered and danced inside the quarantine zone around Fukushima Daichi Nuclear Power Plant. The performance created associations with “Noh,” a dance-form that serves as a “device for communication with the Afterlife.” The Well Cradle (Izutsu), a classic Noh play written by Zeami, features the spirit of a woman who had been waiting for her husband that never came back. Yamaguchi’s choreography resembled the dance performed by the spirit as if both a woman and man are in one body. The dance of the possessed performed by Yamakawa in The Future She Saw was Our Nowadays is not a requiem or remembrance between the living and the afterworld. Instead, it alludes to the link between radiation invisible to the naked eye and what blocks our exposure to that radiation.

發電廠仍然在那裡。
只是核子反應爐已處於冷溫停止的狀態。
兩位帶著白色口罩的警察看著我走了過來。
其中一位說。
「前方是禁止進入的。你叫什麼名字?來這裡做什麼?」
我如此回答。
「我的名字是山口小夜子。我為了見我自己而來。」
那位警察這麼說了。
「前方是不能進入的。也不允許看裡面。請立刻停止攝影。」
我們停止了攝影。

Where do these oceans lead to?
Do they lead all the way to where you are?
The Shioyasaki lighthouse is still at its old place.
The rock at Misaki Park, too, is still where it always was.
But now They’re building a breakwater, so one can’t go down to the beach anymore.
When I looked up to the sky, I saw a flock of migratory birds flying eastward.
I wonder if those birds can fly all the way to where you are…
Can you hear my voice?

The future that you have seen was our present.
“Nuclear power: the energy for a bright future”
“Reconstruction support measures are being planned regarding the Olympic torch relay and camps in the disaster-affected area prior to the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. Fukushima governor Sato requested that the Olympic torch be carried along National Route 6(Hamadori), as an opportunity for the world to witness the present recovered state of Fukushima. Agreements assuring further cooperation toward the Olympic Games have been made.”

But the reactors are in a cold shutdown condition they say.
Two officers wearing white masks came walking toward me as soon as they noticed me.
One of them said, “The area beyond this point is off limits. What’s your name? And what did you come for here for?”
I replied, “My name is Sayoko Yamaguchi, and I came here to meet myself.”
The officer said, “You’re not allowed to go any further, not even to look inside. Please stop filming immediately.”
So we stopped filming.
