Shao Yung-Tien (S.Y.T., 1967-)

Before the age of seven, I had experienced a high fever of 40 degrees in a coma; I once fell into a pond and nearly drowned; the bullet once broke my aorta and caused excessive bleeding. Indeed, I was a poor kid rejected by Death for many times.

When I graduated from a vocational school in 1985, Taiwan's economy was not good. So I worked as an apprentice with only a daily salary of TWD 150. I was discharged from the army in 1990 and entered the workplace. At that time, Taiwan's stock market collapsed. I started my first business in 1993 and it collapsed in two years. The year I founded YUIMOM CONSTRUCTION in 1997, there was Asian Financial Tsunami; in 2008, when the first project building ”The Royal Garden” was completed and put on sale, it was global financial tsunami. When the Group's subsidiary YUIMOM Club (Silks Club) opened in 2017, due to COVID-19, the mainland tourist stopped coming. The worst was no more than that.

However, as one who have never lived a peaceful life, his smile is still the same; he is still willful, confident, joyful, and enthusiastic. He laughs and talks, as if his life is smooth and complacent...

It is because, he understands, ”In the end, everything is irrelevant”. Humans, from the day they are born, are destined to die. What is intriguing is the process. Therefore, he insists on liberating his soul, faces all changes with an attitude as playing games, and finds ways to turn bad things into good ones and turn disadvantages into advantages. To live, is to fight.

On April 2, 2019, Gyatso Rinpoche visited and bestowed him the Dharma name of ”Crazy Zen”. On Children's Day two days later, he picked up a paintbrush and started another game.

He has no painting method, only construction method
He has ideas, but no skills
He doesn't think, just wanders
He, sways paints, like soldiers riding horses
He, paints confidently, and naturally becomes

He, encounters serenity within madness of creation
He, releases his soul into the work

If you ask him about creation, it's just the word ”joy”.
