From 2011, when he created his classic "Life-size drawing", Lai Chih-Sheng has explored depicting the connections between surfaces within spaces, and drawing spaces within spaces. In “Linger”, a work in correspondence to the history and architecture of the Kinma Military Hostel, challenges viewers’ physical sensations on the spot.

At this seminar held by the curator Jenny Lee, Taiwan representative of Art Basel, will interview Lai about the roles of artists and viewers during live creations of artworks. This dialogue will also give the audience a deeper understanding of Lai’s creative process.
